Starter edition doesn't look that bad for a netbook. Can't see much on that list that I would miss or can't be added by a third party (DVD playback, despite a netbook not having an optical drive).
Can always upgrade to Home Premium for 42 quid (via Amazon) if necessary.

The only thing that I don't like about my netbook is the screen resolution is a bit too low in the vertical, so lots of scrolling just to read a typical web page. IE or Chrome full screen browsing mode (via F11) helps a lot though.
They are great for casual surfing while not really watching the TV. Much the same as the iPad, but at least with Windows you have more control and storage space.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
