I've been to the north, it's tulip.
The North is indeed tulipe. Rainy and cold and the people are only friendly because they're so poor they have to be.
However as Dim can't afford a decent place in London or the South East he has to psychologically big up the deprived North East.
I can just see Dim shivering in a tent on the deserted beach while the rest of us are sunning it up in our holiday homes on the Med.
