Like some giant illuminated penis flying over the rooftops of suburban homes and frothing at random passing women, William has pointed himself at Kate Middleton, the Susan Boyle of social mobility. In declaring her his princess, he brings hope of real change to millions of people denied a decent education and the means to better themselves, to millions of tiny babies denied even books, that one day they too could be randomly rewarded with untold wealth and privilege.

A humorous take on the royal wedding from Stewart Lee
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.' -

For all his faults (including not being very funny), I don't recall him sounding as pompous as the above.Coffee's for closersComment

I see the Guardian are also selling anti Royal wedding souvenirs.
I think that Mr Lee and these left wing check guevara wannabes who write for that rag are just a bunch of spoilt overgrown teenagers.
A lot of people get a lot of pleasure from the Royals and tomorrows events will not only generate a lot of money for our ailing economy but it will also put us back on the map.
I'd like to see how much international interest would be generated by President Hucknall, or whatever ghastly left leaning politically active celebrity we'd end up with if these republicans got their way.
God save the Queen.Comment
