    Numpty question I'm sure but if he has no best man who will sign the register? I guess it needs to still be witnessed by two others regardless of where it's held.

    Not that IGAS really. It just seemed like a stoopid statement for him to make.

      As long as there are two witnesses over 18, there's no problem.

          Maybe - it might just be that they don't want too much formality. There's no bridesmaids either, but no-one is saying that it's a snub to anyone else - it's an informal ceremony without convention.
