    When Plan B's go bad.....

    Further update....

Logistically it would be a nightmare (well a luton van and a day with two men/ or women of course) to shift an industrial unit full of equipment and require some space to store it, so rightly or wrongly I've stuck a big stainless padlock on it until we further sort this out.

The equipment is large, our largest peice of kit is 6'x6'x4', next 6'x4'x4', 6'x6'x2', these are the most valuable bits. Then loads of anciliary bits on top of this.

Regarding the domiain names, I definately paid for them personally, but can't remember if I registered them to the business or personal - I think I amy have a checked a box "is this for use by a business", but I'll have to check to be sure.

Thanks all for your advice so far. Next step is accountant - see what he says, then possibly solicitor.

The padlock sounds sensible, but could the other guy rustle up a luton van and a couple of Mr Shifters? (I know I can do this - just hit the local boozer full of unemployed lads and they will turn up for a few quid for a day's work.)

Who does the renewal invoice come addressed to? Yourself personally or your company? This is probably the key.

      Fingers crossed and good luck.

        To the negative repper

        "Dull sockie" Today 09:16

It may be dull, but i'm looking for advice from what I know is whole wealth of knowledge readily available by like minded people who are more likely than most to have had similar experiences.

Secondly, no I'm not a sockie, I don't use a multiple logins, it's very real believe me.

          Thanks.

It's a good padlock and not easily sheared by boltcroppers, the only way would be a cutting disc in an angle grinder, he wouldn't know which end to pick it up. Only I have a key.

The invoice address is my home, but then so is the registered address of the business. We registered the business prior to finding premises.

I'm sure a smart chap like yourself could login to wherever you registered it with and update the whois entry to be sure.

Best of luck with it all.

              Peanuts.

Just completed the last day at 'tat' shop (btw. It's a furniture & gift shop - tat is a the jokey title that the denizens of General have coined over the years)

Spent out just 5k on stock this year, the scores on the doors for today is a return of £43k for the quarter exc VAT, and at a reduced rate of 35% I still appear to be holding £10k in stock. So going to drag the staff out for another week. Bloody thing has swung horribly into profit which means I may have been understating the stockholding on the last two set of accounts.

Hand the keys back in 3 weeks unless the landlord excepts my final offer next week of £230k to buy the freehold

Well I for one hope it all pans out for ya big fella. Then you will finally be able to get that whole gender transformation thing that you have been hankering after for so long, signed and sealed. And your new life as "Glenda" can really begin in earnest!

                  Thanks Shauna.

And BTW thanks for the link to those websites, I'll miss those though. If I do decide to go for the whole gender transformation thing I'm not convinced I want to do it with a pair of bricks and a piece of rope tied around a door. That must have hurt like hell.

If you've paid for all items personally and haven't received compensation from the business for it then the equipment is yours and the company can't touch it.

Be careful that you're not restricting your partners rights to enter business premises etc until the issue is resolved.
