I have a licence to kill fish!

Interesting idea of Clint staring as the main character in a film based on a Le Carre novel.

Who would play George in Smiley's People?

I think you can only get done for having a TV but no license. Am pretty sure you're alright with a radio. It just pays for the bbc's wonderful array of programmes and intelligent, inciteful disc jockeys........

You can now buy a USB freeview box to just plug into the lap top.

                It that licenseable?

a licence is needed for anything, not just a tv, that is able to receive/record tv programmes.

One is required to have a Radio License in Germany, there is no reason why Britain should not have a similar requirement.
