I may be alone here, but if I were holidaying in the Seychelles, I'd be weighing up whether to take a hammock, a tent or break the bank and use a hostel. A beach hut with a fridge is luxury. Could do without the horny old poser though, job number one would be to kick him and his hair products out.

Looks like it had not been renovated since the 1980’s, rusty fridge etc. When I asked him why he had booked it, he said “if she really loved me it does not matter what the place looks like”

So do you think it’s fair to spring a test like this on someone so far away from home?

I also think there is a bit of built in punishment if she fails the test, i.e. he has the money to bugger off to a 5* hotel on another island or go home, if it does not work out. She will be left in a dump in the Seychelles for the rest of the holiday.

Not much of a test if he has alrady spent loads of money on her and she knows he has money....

          You sound a little jealous.

You're not the old bird he's divorcing are you?

She is getting millions, but she is so high maintenance it may only last her a few years.

              Fair Test

Sounds like an odd ploy to me, and not really the way to ascertain how she really feels about him. Even if she is head over heels, this will probably put her off a bit. He sounds like a tit.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

I think most chaps prefer a girl who can do 'heels over head'.
