    Independence Day :

    science (fiction) - utter rubbish
Yank flag waving - full of it
    characterisation - infantile

But the special effects are great, and the humans win.

          I Robot
          Men in Black
          Wild Wild West

Slight theme developing... though I think his newer serious films are good.

          Karate Kid(s)
          Anything with Jackie Chan, Jean-claude

I Am Legend is fantastic, but only the alternative ending version on the DVD, which makes massively more sense of the whole thing and is a proper sci-fi twist.

Die Hard 4 - especially dropping a jet with a truck and a helicopter with a police car.

The Matrix 1,2 and especially 3.

I keep hoping it will make some sort of sense at the end but it never does.

In the meantime there is always Carrie-Anne Moss in skin tight PVC

The Matrix 1 made sense, then it just got silly
