From what you've demonstrated so far you must be on a piss-poor rate. Talking it up ain't going to get you a rate increase.

You are the guy who offered me a peace offering today after I made a fool of you. Is the bravado back?

You think maths is remembering a phone number. That is not what we do at university.

Well here was me thinking that ancient Babylon was populated by Iraqi/Arabs

          silly me.

for anyone who is still interested, here is how the ancient arabs used their zero (which was in fact a blank space) for the sake of argument assume we all used base 10.
          they would have written 508
5 8 (five hundreds, no tens , eight units)
they would have know it was not 58 or 5008 by the context, but its still a bit dodgy to our eyes.
there are some who claim they put a dot in, for each space
          5'8

the Hindus (and possibly others) ,said no, this space is not only confusing, but it is a real number, so they gave it a character and a name. but they were not the first with the concept

Do you actually know what a DSP is?

Well that won't happen, because he'd be seriously risking his own life spending time with those people.

Well as I spent my last 2 years in Engineering studying dynamics and acoustics I think I have a far greater understanding of the subject than yourself.

You strike me as a nurse thinking they have a degree in medicine.

Me thinks the OP has completely lost track of his posting history.

He seems to believe using the word 'Pal' is an indicator that he is somehow superior and we should all cower in fear.

This thread has become a complete hoot. But the wife has called and dinner is on. Curry tonight. I'm off.

You think? There's no element of doubt there, is there?

You did two years at University studying a subject that may have used DSPs as part of the course and you say without a shadow of a doubt that you know more about their operation and programming than a man who has been writing DSP software for the past 15 years?
