One of the best. Under Davies, the series started to degenerate into soap opera. With Moffat, it's become a fairy tale - story driven, never mind the plot holes. ( Doctor Who is supposed to have plot holes).

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very nicely done.

Though I did think the beginning was a bit too "Star Trek".
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

As a 42 year old male with a child like / immature mind I enjoyed it.
This and the Upstairs Downstairs mini series was the only thing that I have watched on TV this Christmas apart from the news.

I like the new Doc. He is just the right type of madman to make it all so magically realistic. However, for the first time the Doctor is played by someone younger than me which is a little worrying.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
