Only 3" of snow here but the river is freezing in earnest this time round. Got a thick branch and tried our hardest to poke through the ice, couldn't even crack it. Got one foot fairly heavily on before I chickened out, if it stays freezing I reckon by New Year we'll be walking on it.
Hope to go sledging after dinner 2mrw

Been whacking the mother out of my v drums for about 5 hours each day this week. Kept the cold out but my wrists feel like two pork sausages attached to my arms.
