    I picked it up when working in the MoD. A junior officer started to make a point in a meeting, then realised rather more senior officers were present and suddenly changed what he was saying.

    I assumed it was a navy thing.
    My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.
