What a ponce. What an absolute ponce.
I guessed which dad is was as soon as I got there. He had ponce written on his forehead.
I asked him for the money and he went 'yeah bringing in to the shop tomorrow'. Not a glimmer. Not a flinch when I asked him.
Yeah I work between 9 - 5(hence the reason you drop your kid off at 8.30 in the morning and pick her up at 3). I live in Farnborough(yeah well thats 30 minutes away).
So he don't work. He's an out and out liar. Then it turns out he may have asked another mum for money as she was talking to him.
So best inform everyone.
It's stupid. Who does that on their own doorstep? In their childs first school? Incredible. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

I can't remember if you went for the Summerfields option or the South Wilmslow option in the end.

The sgt called me back - turns out that she must have been looking at my upstairs window most days during the bad weather while the gardens were unaccessible so knows the exact date I put up a LCD suction backed clock onto the window.
She is clearly either knowing this is not really a webcam to spy on their snow filled empty garden, or, totally paranoid.
The sgt was great - said that some people use the police as inappropriate mediation, and, when he sends one of his team round on Saturday morning to confirm it is indeed just a blue LCD clock, then he will consider taking action against neighbour for wasting police time.
