that said a few days ago was sat opposite a guy who shook the entire bank of desks everytime he moved (he was called 'Mr-SmashnSlam') it was infuriating especially as he couldn't interpret my incredulous glare as I watched my coffee slosh around in its cup everytime he moved...
luckily today I'm behind 'Mr-Shouty' - one of those blokes who is a complete plonker but doesn't realise you don't have to shout into phones - so I have to listen to his dreck for about two hours while he does a conference call - I could probably tune it out if he was actually talking about work stuff...
guy who sat next to me on train yesterday, by the way he sat down and let out a stupidly loud sigh I realised he was a 'broadcaster' - I spent the rest of the journey trying to ignore his sighs, grunts and general fidgeting - he also took an inordinate amount of time to drink a cup of machine coffee really loudly - my fault for wanting to read on the train I guess

In a solidly built office, with sturdy furniture, you don't notice vibroleg. It's only a problem in flimsy places where everything starts resonating.Comment

I'm not sure I've encountered this vibroleg before - or perhaps it's one of the few things in the world that hasn't annoyed me.
Learnt a new word today though - dreck - thanks 2BIT. I can also relate to the 'broadcaster' type - NEW GIRL does that alongside the constant laughing to herself and looking around to see who's going to ask what she's laughing at.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

I can now add constant sniffing and clearing of nostrils to the tapping but the humming has stopped for nowComment

I used to have a sniffer sat next to me. Blow your God Damn nose you total moron. I offered him tissues about every 5 mins - he soon got the message. Used to go off to the loo for a massive blowing session (yes, I could hear him from my desk) Strangely I'd could cope with the blowing much more than the sniffing.Bazza gets caught
