The kitchen (which does not have a carpet) is an offshoot of the sitting room, separated conceptually but not by an actual wall. But I will be holding a full inquiry into my chopping procedure.

It started as a fairly tidy mound of paint, with a lid drowned in it. I watched it spreading, and hopped about swearing, not knowing what to do about it.
Using two bits of cardboard to scoop it up just spread it about a bit more.
It does look like I've disembowled someone.
