Me: "What small things make you disproportionally happy?"

(which was, with hindsight, a dangerous question. )

Mrs RC: "That cup of tea in bed, first thing in the morning."

    Me: "Really?"

Mrs RC: "Yes. It stops me being INCREDIBLY ******* ANGRY."

    That's me told.

The M4 goes due west from London giving access to such lovely places as Reading and Swindon.
But you can turn left at Bristol onto the M5 and you end up in some really great countryside, namely Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

Just don't turn right or you'll end up in Birmingham.

Nope - turn right on the motorway and you'll end up in the crash barrier
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

            I preferred version 1!

being there to pick my boys up from nursery/school and then going to the play park.
(and no, that is not a euphemism!)

Looking back at the office as I leave for the last time on finishing a contract.

....little scratches on my nice new shiny guitars, are really hard to deal with.

Forgetting completely unimportant items like a cloth shopping bag or a broken umbrella, or my spare shoes with holes in the soles can be mightly upsetting.

I don´t mind losing several tens of thousands on the stock market, but being short changed by 3 cents would take me a day or so to get over.

On the positive side, when a pretty woman waves or smiles at me even though she was smiling/waving to the guy just behind me.

BB, I think you misread the question.

I'm happy seeing freelancer75 descend from "freelancer75 is mostly harmless" to "freelancer75 is neither here nor there". I wonder how low he'll get before he's banned?
