    SKY HD channels

I've noticed a few of these channels popping up 1 sport and 2 movie.

Has anyone subscribed to these ?
Is there a noticable difference to the stndard digital images ?

I don't have one myself but played with the technology at a certain manufacturer of satellite tv equipment and it's fantastic!

can't believe that Sky will be charging extra for these.... I pay £46 a month and I barely watch any of the channels any more, I mean like Simpsons re-runs are great for the first dozen or so viewings, but by then you've virtually memorised every scene!

Sky's a rip off but unfortunately in my area there's no cable so they've got a monopoly ... and they know it damn b*stards.

          Sky Scam

Must agree with Taz, we also have the full package and I'm not paying any more for a couple of channels....just shelled out for a HD ready TV but will wait until they release more channels before subscribing.

Not likely. Evolutionists use New Zealand to prove the existence of the missing link between chimps and humans.

Yes, its all living over here though...taking good jobs away from the locals and generally showing the English how things should be done!

Absolutely. At a 'certain manufacturer' we had a demo running on a dual output STB to compare standard def with HD, and its when you see them running side by side like that that you really appreciate the difference in quality.
