And then there is the VAT: What ever happened with that cigarette vendor who used a Ferarri as transport to refil his machines?
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

Why not go higher then - if you are in a position to buy Jumbo Boeing 747, then you are an even truer contractor?

The Veyron car has got nothing to do with contractors - about zero of them will ever buy it, Gallardo is far closer to reality.

£800,000 was one price I've seen quoted.

Apparantly they cost several million to actually build.....

If you read the topic title(a novel experience, I know) then you will see that the topic is "the ultimate contractor car ?".

This has been a public information announcement on behalf of the terminally stupid.

Actually if you care to read into my question you would appreciate that I actually read the title - I state here that Veyron is 200% out of reach of _ANY_ Contractor, even JFK hitmen will stay clear of this one.

Thus, Veyron can't possibly be an ultimate car for a contractor, especially IT contractor, hence if you actually talk about ultimate contractor car then you need to go down, say to Gallardo or even lower.

Threaded is somewhat dismayed by the reliability of his new performance car.

Oh, aspire to second best then, eh?

Nope, not me sunshine. You may be correct in your assumption. However, the Veyron would be my ultimate car. I'm a contractor, therefore...

Now, stop this silliness and give us an update on your vehicular woes!

Just because its the most expensive does not mean its the best - Veyron is highly impractical car, almost as bad as F1 bolid.

Update on SKA will come shortly, with luck not even from me

The ultimate contractor car is a taxi.. I dont want to be bothered with being pulled over for speeding in some souped up knob substitute when I can be entertaining student nurses on champers and felling the goods on the way back to my place...
