It would have to be a bloody big envelope.

And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I doubt it, they're most probably still wandering about wondering where bloody Birmingham is.

The thing that most pisses me off about junk mail is you can lose something important in the pile of crap.

I keep it all at the side, I've got one of those little stamps which says Addressee unknown return to sender. Every month or so I get through them and then drop them in the postbox.

You'll never beat them, but might as well make them pay twice for it.

Told the Royal mail we are opting out of their junk mail service.
Placed a 'No Leaflets or other promotional items' sign on the door

If any crap does come through and it has an envelope I usually rip it up and post it all back.

Still get tons and tons of the crap.

Also can Companies house not put captcha on their site? Cannot be that hard to get at all the details with some screen scraper.

              Same here.

I also add "Please update your records" and, over time it does seem to work - however, alternative junk mail soon takes its place.

The junk mail I hate is the type that is 'disguised' as normal mail. Seriously, you think this is going to make me read it??

Don't mind the postal sort in winter. Since we stopped buying newspapers in favour of just online viewing it comes in handy to light the weekend fires with.
