I like to leave a bit of a gap in front of me to tempt people into trying it on and then shutting the door on them when they have a go. If you get it right and the people behind you play ball, you can get people stranded for a good while.

Exactly my point from last nights road rage incident.

I was in lane 2, merge sign on road to go to lane 1,but the jeep guy tried to continue even though I had nowhere to go, so he glues to my backside with lights on full beam.

Most people deal with this by racing each other, but what is the bloody point?
