No, not really. I am just killing time slapping you down for being the tedious attention-seeking little drongo you seem to be.Originally posted by BdP View PostOhh, you are really driven by irrational, and unrequented, unhealthy hate, aren't you? You need to calm down a bit. It's not good for you.

I think that's a rather simplistic view. It's not as cut and dried as that.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostAnd no more invasions of third world countries? That'd be terrible.Bazza gets caught

Nonsense. Even if such a craft existed, the Royal Navy would never be able to steer it as far as Luxembourg without grounding it on a sandbank.Originally posted by thunderlizard View PostSubmarines. The new land-burrowing kind, like HMS Astute.

Well my analogy is the fire service (remember, i aint very good at analogies)Originally posted by cailin maith View PostTrue they have made the choice to join up while the war is ongoing but who knows how long it will or won't go on for.
Whats the alternative? For there to be no new recruits and therefore in the future no Armed Forces?
We have a fire brigade, we hope we never have to use it. Its a big cost, buts the cost of not having it would be greater. It helps prevent fires, but fires still happen, we all want to wish fires away, because they are horrible, but we are wise enough to know that wishing them away wont make them go away.
If politicians use the service in the wrong way, well thats a national calamity, but it reflects badly on the politicians, not on the service.
Most guys who join the fire service know with 100% certainty that they will face a fire, it does not deter them. They know they might be burned, lose their eyeballs, or die, it still does not deter them.
Sometimes, people will throw stones at firemen. I dont know why they do it. One thing I do know - they are the lowest form of bottom feeding scum you could ever wish to meet
Thats my analogy bpd

Well it's good to see this Troll's been banned. I've my money on it being Sas. Some of the lines it's coming out with seem to stink of the same 5hit shall we say."I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith
