Speak in Haste, Repent at Leisure.

Came back from the pub yesterday evening after a few beers and went to bed to get up for a midnight start, slept right through.

I will be up for this one.

Where are all the Aussie fans? The ground looks deserted apart from the English contingent.

I'm in the south wing, just about to move into the main house and sit in front of the massive TV after I finish my Bolivar.

Made an arse of winding you English contractors up so I might as well wind the permies up that read this site.

I've never seen the point in getting wound up over sport. I tend to treat obsessive clannishness over sport as the preserve of total morons.

I'd prefer England to win the match and the series, but I don't care that much if it's a good game.

Not seen Straus's stumping, was it a good one or was he just lamely out of his ground?

It should be a draw now, cannot see England getting to a score that Autralia cannot defend on the last day.

Probably (shame, I prefer a real result) Australia certainly have the batting talent to see out a day unless the bowling is really special. I wish England could field bottom order batsmen that know one end of the bat from another.

Definitely feels like a draw, even if England were to declare now which seems impossible I doubt Aus could make the total and there's no real chance of bowling an Aussie side out in 2 sessions.

I thought your bet was a good one, but I reckon it's gone now.

                  What a fantastic result!

A few Walkerisms from Minestrone in this thread. Long may that reign!

I must be misunderstanding this. England's bottom order have rescued them many times over the past couple of years.
