Well, what a fantastic result and cheers me up no end after being up half the night with a chimney fire!

England have the moral victory and although I now have my doubts about us taking 20 wickets, our batting looks as strong as Australia's.

Should be another hard fought, close series (unless the Aussies bowling completely collapses and puts to much pressure on the Aussie batters, or Swann finds some form and gets a ten-for!!).

I will not make any further predictions but stick to my original 2-1.

    Come on England!

How does that work then? I thought this round was a draw.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Nah. You just made the same mistake we English have made over the past 20 years of betting on a three-legged horse.

I didn't know the answer so I asked the question.

                Thanks DS.

                  Good old firebrigade.

1 crew, 3 hours, freezing temperatures - scariest night of my life. Nobody hurt but we were very close to having the house burn down around us. Just glad we had not gone to bed.

OK then Soupy how do you see it going tonight?

I will not be listening live - just hope I wake up to decent news.

Who's going to get the wickets without wonderboy Mitchell?
