The Migration Advisory Committee's report was published today, which has prompted other press releases and announcements. Anyone fancy making heads or tails of it? On the surface it sounds as if it recommends cuts in numbers, 'tighter' than currently in force, but who knows. Especially odd as the CPI (anti-contractor and anti UK employee) welcomes it. The recommendations seem at odds with what Ca.moron and Vince want. What the government actually does isn't going to be known until 'before Christmas'.
