          Yes. Illya Kuryakin in the Man from Uncle. Much earlier than Colditz (1967/9) but good fun. Hardly based on reality though.

                Great epsiode when one of the chaps escaped and made it to the US embassy only to get a knock back. And all too true sadly. The septics still can't give an explanation for that one.
