How come there are only 4m of them ??? My mum is Irish and was the youngest of 13 !!!

And emigration depleted the population somewhat.

Family numbers do seem to have decreased over the years, my parents came from families of 9 and 13, growing up families of more than 5 were considered rare. Though 5 children these days is considered a large family.

I've got an answer.

Re-unite Ireland and bring it back into the United Kingdom. Then we can **** off the EU and concentrate on our trade with the old Commonwealth and other countries on a nation by nation basis.

The EU isn't needed anymore to prevent European factions from war so disband it. Trade on our merits, not in a false market.
