Ok, this is beginning to feel very much like being Wilmslow but...

Npower calls back says they were wrong to claim it is company policy not to allow change of meter, they can do it for £60 plus 2-3 weeks, but I had offer current supplier Scottish Power to do it for free (albeit in 4-6 weeks). So I tell them to stuff it.

Then I call Scottish Power they pass me over to sales drone who says things like you'll be for 12 months on prepay blah blah and I am like

Now I know why I am not moving often

Yes, that could have happened - I'd blown all that cash on a flat and sit in there like you creating numerous sockies on CUK, showing off your fantasy wealth etc.

I could have easily done that, but then I'd be more like you: bitter, sad, pathetic version of sasguru.

But I aspire to something much better and bigger than that, that's why I've chosen the SKA route, that's why this would be the last place I am renting ...
