How can you know this? (Its the first time I have heard this to be honest) I am working with some bobs now and although they are not the best devs I ever worked with, they are certainly not the worst.

Who has invested heavily and in what ? India governement you mean ? or some one else?

Go out of urban areas in India and you will struggle to get broadband. Even in urban areas people are on dialup.

Do you get free higher education ? **** no, you also pay fees unless you are really poor.

Nobody has relaly invested heavily in IT, big IT companies have pocketed the cash and pay their employees meagre wages.

Really? I asked the previous poster how they know that all indian IT degrees are worthless toilet paper. I then stated that I work with a bunch of indian devs who are of average quality (based on the code I have seen). I have worked with english devs who have turned in code so bad it hurts your eyes and makes you wonder how they even got a job as a coder.

As I understand it, all parties have been in favour of increasing student fees. Including Labour.

You are not serious ! Houses in rural Wales with no electricity and running water can get broadband.
