For some previous permanent roles I did, but I haven't had to wear one for almost seven years now.You won't be alerting anyone to anything with a mouthful of mixed seeds.Comment

It depends on the type of client and how customer facing the project.
Suit about 75% of the time although very rarely a tie.Comment

yep, city work requires a suit, saves me the bother of thinking about what I need to wear.Comment

Always, even if the client generally doesn't. If they have that Friday-come-in-your-PE-kit thing, I compromise by not wearing a tie. Which used to put me in the odd position of having to put a tie on specially at lunchtime to go for lunch in the club.Comment
