    Won't the new rules allow Indian companies to bring over unlimited numbers to stay here? If so bad luck you British guys.

      If they're staying over, aren't they nearly as expensive since the consultancy has to take a cut and the contractor has to pay for rent, council tax, etc?

        No, they are not nearly as expensive: no mortgage, no expensive car, no wife to divorce (in the UK) etc.

          Because everyone who works in the UK has a mortgage and an expensive car? Not to mention that the mortgage on my owned property is 1/7th the rental rate, many people pay less to own their own home.
