    The stick waving is crucial but is only a small part of the overall job a conductor does for sure. Some reality show a couple of years ago had some guy off the street win a conducting competition after a short time being trained.

          WZS. The pre-concert sessions are how a conductor puts his interpretation on the work (and puts the team together).
