Maybe someone should point those in charge to a few of the techie forums to see what they're doing“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -

There's been a bunch of IBM-provided Bobs at ClientCo this past couple of months. All day long, one of them is on his mobile to India getting answers to questions for all the others. The rest of them just spend the day hiding in meeting rooms pretending to look busy. Meanwhile, one of the permies is doing the work IBM is being paid to deliver.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostMaybe someone should point those in charge to a few of the techie forums to see what they're doing
Management don't care. They've done want the shareholders want and paid for expert consultancy. That they won't get it is immaterial.
We're doomed. The Bobs will win.

:All EU member states delegated responsibility for Overseas Trade to the Commision decades ago or the EEC as it was back then. So you have to trust the EU trade Commision to do a good job on your behalf.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostNew Labour devolved all power to the EU, so there's nothing any party can do now, except pull out of the EU.
Thanks Blair and Gordon.

Well it's not like you can vote Commissioner De Gucht out anyhow

I think that Keynes was a
, but he has two quotes attributed to him that sums the situation up.
- Markets can remain irrational a lot longer than you and I can remain solvent
- In the long run we are all dead
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Looking on the bright side, at least we will get to see the end game. We may not be able to live long enough to see the end of the universe, a major annoyance, but we are in privileged seats for second best, the ruination of the UK. Boomed. Sadly we may be old and frail and on the receiving end of what ensues as the end draws close.Comment

On my last contract I kept finding the filthy gits in the gents toilet blowing the contents of their nostrils out into the sink. This seems to be a normal and widely accepted practice in the bob culture.Originally posted by HairyArsedBloke View PostBy the time it is recognised that the Bobs are bad, it will be too late.

LOL
Even in Aus, there are Bobs everywhere. In my niche skill, there are armies of Bobs working on the vendor helpdesk, to get themselves trained up. They will soon be heading over here and the UK to become contractors when they are skilled up in the product. Then the rates will head south. I reckon i've got another year or two then i'm out of this industry.Comment
