Have we (UK PLC) agreed to this?

Senior figures in the Conservative-Liberal Democrat Coalition have been split by the decision.
It has been reported that Vince Cable, the Business Secretary, and William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, argue that the EU-India agreement must go ahead because it is worth hundreds of millions of pounds to business, but David Cameron, the Prime Minister, and Theresa May, the Home Secretary, are opposed
Britain will be bound by any final EU agreement

However, some politicians believe the EU should not be doing trade deals on the behalf of Britain and that the UK Visa cap is non-negotiable.
So are we stuffed - like it or not?

William Hague promises UK sovereignty law

Mr Hague said a clause would be included in the European Union Bill to place the sovereignty of the British Parliament on the statute book for the first time.

It would make clear that EU law only takes effect in the UK through the European Communities Act 1972, which Parliament may amend or repeal.
What's it gonna be boy, yes or no?

The "market price" depends on who is in the market. UK plc, and now the EU, is in the process of bringing a vastly larger and cheaper population of sellers into the IT skills market, and the price is going to become peanuts.

I don't expect businesses to do otherwise, but I do expect government to.

I think a lot of them have got a bit too used to credit crunch rates as well. Some of the random pimp emails I'm still getting now are absurd - even though the market's picking up..

Even if Bob moves over here he's still going to have to pay living expenses over here - and have enough to send money home. Unless we see a Polish model of 30-40 people living in 1 house..

Most will come on a 6 month visa, meaning they are non-resident and non-domiciled and hence no tax to pay on their earnings here.

Can you compete with a 3rd World worker who pays no tax?

Free trade deals can only be mutually beneficial for countries on about the same or close level of development (includes laws protecting workers, minimum wage etc).
