Wrong - the fans didn't force GH out, he wasted a lot of money with Diao, Diouf and didn't take us further.

    They forced Benetez out
Wrong again, the fans never forced Rafa out, the board did. He was undermined by the owners. They tried to replace him on a few occasions. He had to turn a profit each transfer window.
The fans were divided as to whether he should stay or go.
I liked Rafa and I wonder where we would be if he had stayed.

Presumably now they will force the board out and the club will go into admin
Can't happen, the banks won't allow it. They want a return and will eventually take control of the club and sell for for a lower price than the two jokers in charge want.

He should do OK at liverpool now as surely they would like to be one of those middling clubs. My cousin is a Liverpool supporter and before the season kicked off, after Cole signed he was full of how Liverpool were back and with thier top class manager they would be challenging - didn't realise the challenge was not to drop out of the prem.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

      I preferred version 1!

Out of the frying pan? I would rather see some Arab with gazillions to waste on a whim.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Agreed, but a new stadium can be built and the off field activities resolved. Boom

I like how the board members have stuck to their guns and rejected GG/TH, even when they tried to sack them.

They've got to be some for of idiot to allow the board to be configured in a way where they can be out voted.

I just finished reading a trading book based a lot on John W Henry's trading style - the man is a legend.

I might start following football again now

I don't follow baseball but how have the Boston red Sox done since he bought them?

They hadn't won the world series for 80+ years, he bought the Sox in 2002.
Red Sox won world series in 2004, then again in 2007.

                  I'd settle for that
