there are many ways to do it. I recently bought a remote control / touch sensor light switch and programmed it into a button on my Sky remote, works great as a dimmer while sitting down to watch a movie.

Well, I've found the remote (or at least the thing for the car) but I can't combine the objects... Ah well, never mind - never been any good at these things

You need to combine the car and battery, then the car (including battery, but now it counts as one object) and magnet.
