              Probably, but I imagine it asks you if you're sure. Actually in newer windows dos isn't dos so maybe not. Try it and see...

                Why dont they make the thread TPD again and call the TPD 1 thread the TPD archive, then every thousand posts the TPD can be merged into the archive?

                You get the thread name back and the knowledge that you are increasing the first thread post count again.
