Thanks! Saved me the bother of organising the shindig this year

I'm assuming the venue will be the Ship and Shovell?

Only if we can book upstairs, else we'll need somewhere bigger.

Bugger, I forgot it was multiple choice.

I can do Friday 10th as well.

If we book, then we have to go through the faff of minimum spend or ordering food.

Or we could just turn up early enough and bag a table.

Either that or find a pub (with decent ale) we can book an area in without being charged.

Not sure....does it do food? I'm not a Londonite so I usually leave the venue choices to the better informed. When realityhack has finished doing the shipping forecast I'll badger him for a list of suggestions. He's suave and sophisticated so I'll be a list of places we defiantly won't fit in.

I'm not confident that someone else won't do that anyway and book it and we get stuck downstairs.

I think we'll have to book food if it's a bit more formal than Thursday nights. Some people will be coming down specially and it's only fair that food appears somewhere during the evening.
