Well Gollie did come back. Archie and Gollie's sidekick, Duncan, found him hiding out in a cave feeling sorry for himself and persuaded him to come back to Glenbogle.

Now it seems that the new housekeeper, Irene - who took over from Lexie after she became engaged to Archie, is packing her bags after having had a whirlwind affair with Duncan and finding out that she is pregnant through another man.

You do realise it is fictional?

I do. I was planning on doing a brief precis of the previous evening's episode everyday for the benefit of everyone. I'm sure you'll come to love it, just like my morning train thread perhaps.

Tonight was Lexie's first time to hold one of her gillie's balls. Stressed out over whether or not she'd be able to cut the mustard, preparations inevitably descended into a farce thanks entirely to the interventions of Molly, her mother in law who exploded the haggis and unplugged the fridge. Faced with this dilemma, she decides to break with tradition and do things her way inviting a travelling fair to set up on Glenbogle's lawns and laying on a Chinese takeaway for 300.
In a separate development a strange visitor arrives at Glenbogle ostensibly to track down Gillie the Gollie thinking he was his long lost father only for Gollie to drop a bombshell; Gollie isn't his father, his father is, in fact, Archie's late father, Hector, thus making Archie and the stranger brothers. Archie is not happy. Can't wait for tomorrow's installment!

Is GB's puppet-master really watching MotG just to perpetuate this thread? Or is he copy-pasting from wikipedia?
