Here we go again. It is in The Daily Mail, therefore, although I have not checked if it is correct or not, I refuse to think about it and will reject it on principle. Then you stupid lefties have the nerve to call others bigots.
There are real issues here in that two of the principles that our society has been working towards, rational law and humane treatment of animals (as far as practical given that we eat them) are being compromised yet again by deference to an alien religion.
There is also an economic argument if you care to think about it. If companies operating in Britain supply more halal food what does that do to ordinary meat suppliers here?bloggoth

We did check the article unlike you and found it was scare-mongering and mistaken.
They report that BA was caving in and having halal food which was denied by BA. The story is that Gate Gourmet is going halal because of demand by various far eastern airlines.
Purely a business decsion.
