    Where were you 31/8/1997?

The day that Diana died/was killed?
I was on my way to Poland to start a 6-month contract in Katowice.
Even over there they were quite taken aback by it all.
And IIRC, it even usurped their terrible flooding as #1 news item.

I was in bed with my then boyfriend. His mother had let himself in, charged upstairs, and burst into the bedroom shouting "SWITCH ON THE TV! DI'S DEAD!"

No idea. Never paid any attention to the bedwetting, attention seeking princess.

Went out with a bird in 1999 who was convinced she was the reincarnation of Di. Obviously the fact she was already 35 didn't sink in. I have should have dumped her cause she was crazy but she had big tits.

She dumped me in the because I was uncaring!

I must admit, I've never seen her as the heavenly being she's always portrayed to be. An awful way to die, no doubt, and very sad to have left two sons behind, but people die every day. I don't think the hysteria surrounding her death was at all justifiable.

              Nursing a hangover.

              I didn't care when I heard, I wasn't sure I wanted to live either.

Confused to feck, when the radio splurted into life at 5 am Falklands time and was nursing an hangover from the previous nights attempt to drown the boredom with oblivion.

Note:- The Radio was always on but there was only daytime broadcasts aparty from this.
