My journey to work today

Back to a regular pattern today.

I didn't bloat out yesterday, so I didn't have a mega dump like yesterday.

However, I made the coffee way too strong. It was at the end of the packet so I poured the whole lot in. I looked and it was obvious that it was way too much so I used a desert spoon to take a bit out again. Having tasted the first cup, I know I should have taken more out. When it's finished brewing, I'll have to put some extra water in the jug to dilute it a bit.

Up early this morning (6:55) because I had an idea about a new spreadsheet/report I'm working on.

Too early really because it was still a little bit dark, due to the clouds, and I have a policy of not getting up in the dark.

Today's order was Bloomberg, dump, and then coffee.

Woke up at 3:55.

Listened to the World Service/R4 until it was time to get up.

I used to do that until I got fed up with the version of World Service I was getting.

In fact I could at one time get 3 versions of World Service, all subtly different:

• via cable
• via satellite
• via internet

The one I didn't like was the cable version. Yes, that was the source which fed my radio alarm.

What am I doing up at this time. It's still dark.

Bloomberg TV is running, but I haven't put the coffee on or had a dump yet.

I think that will be the order I do them.
