Are you sure they're not green tomatoes by design, as it were? At sasguru towers we're trying to be self sufficient in veggies and although I haven't grown green tomatoes I know they exist and are more tasty than the red variety.

Which red variety?Originally posted by sasguru View PostAre you sure they're not green tomatoes by design, as it were? At sasguru towers we're trying to be self sufficient in veggies and although I haven't grown green tomatoes I know they exist and are more tasty than the red variety.
I've found the tastiest tomatoes come from sunnier climes, particularly some of the Italian "plum" varieties when properly ripened on the vine are something else. We get baby plum ones in the supermarket here that are great cut in half in a greek style salad.
The little yellow ones can be very nice as well. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment
