If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

But that was back in the nineties, it might be different now. The Hilton was better than the Marriott.
I used to stay at the Menzies hotel (formerly called the Milton) opposite the Marriott.

This was total luxury for a 4* hotel - really large executive sized bedrooms (got a free upgrade all the time from a normal double).

The health club there is absultely amazing for a city centre health club, although I used to go over to the Marriott for a drink as the bar was not so good at the Milton.

This was for a very well negotiated long term rate of £70 per night if I remember right.

For food I did the 5pm.co.uk thing, and dined like a king in Malmaison for there £12 pre-dinner meal complete with half a litre of very fine house wine.

      Happy days.

If on a good rate you may as well enjoy the best valued most luxurious hotel you can get for the money in central Glasgow.

Did the Milton used to be called the Hilton? That was opposite the Marriott, and I'd agree is was better. Had a pool too.

There is the Hilton (which is a big pink building), then the Marriott, then the Milton. Just to confuse you all.

I used to work right across the road from the Milton and would go for a quick drink every Friday. Bar was OK. It was used by footballers a lot when they had just signed and had no where to live.

The street the Milton is on is used quite alot as a place to take prossies in your car. I personally would not let a girl walk from the station to that hotel at night on her own.

Anything between the motorway and Central Station that is South of Bath Street should be avoided outside office hours if you do not know your way about.

Sir would be refering to this place...

Got a pick coming back from work.

Never been in it but been asked several times to go, would rather hit the horseshoe for a few pint to be honest. Not really a lap dancing club type of guy.

Took this picture out last night, bit crap as it was on my phone. You just don't see a sky like that in the UK outside Sotland.

There used to be a club opposite the entrance to central station, forget the name, they had dancers. This was 15 years ago.

Got thrown out because I feel asleep.

I took this picture from the flat on a cold december morning back in 2003
