Sorry, no offence intended, but I'd say that an aerospace apprenticeship is vocational training to a very high standard, as is armed forces officer or specialist training. A lot of people in my industry have gone straight from school to work, as long as someone can do a job, often a degree level education is irrelevant if you have the right person.
