What! Why single me out AtW - every other post in this thread is about donkey sex. I am an investor, a man of means, yet you rub the greenbacks in my face. I want to take your ass and propel it to the stars.

Well exactly. So where is your position in the market?

What is your unique selling proposition? What need does SKA fill?

I know I'm always playing Devil's advocate, but I don't mean to be disparaging. I'm in favour of the small guy taking on the establishment.

If someone did have some serious money to invest (hypothetically) then how exactly would you pitch SKA in the "Dragon's Den"?

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

The news today are as follows: SKA reached index size of over 200 mln web pages with considerably improved relevance while keeping search speed reasonable (but not ideal - I am going to rewrite some bits in x86 assembly this week).

No I don't - I have far more important things to consider such as making search more relevant and faster while reducing disk requirements.

Ah. I see you subscribe to the "build it and they will come" business model.

I guess it's just a hobby project then, AtW.
