Going straight to the earliest new post on next site visit?

Hi all, wondering if there's a way of going to the first new post (in a thread) since your last visit to the forum? Currently on multi-page threads I click either on last page then find meself having to track back, or take a guess on which page I might have been on last time I was at the thread then go forward. Not ideal - especially when watching out for bosses and other such.
