what do the Germans think of Angela Merkel's dress sense?
Jeezus, if ever someone needed a visit from the Fashion Police it must be her!
Retro looks are all well and good, but I am sure I have seen footage of Adolf wearing that self-same jacket in Berschtesgaden circa 1938!!!

Funniest thing was after the first goal, she looked around to see if it was okay to stand up and celebrate.
By the time the 3rd/4th goals went in, she had no such qualms.Comment

My one mistake in this world cup is that I assumed the Germans would not that be that good. And if they had played last years team, I would have been right. Luckily for them (and my German co0nnections confirm this is the conclusion in Germany) Ballack got injured which required a rethink and they brought in 4-5 of their under 21s who have made all the difference.
Good luck to Germany. I hope they win. Normally they are boring but efficient team. This year they are an efficient and exciting team. They have managed to use their ethnic minorities flamboyance and ally that with tradiotional German virtues to produce a compelling brand of football that is almost Brazilian.
I hope they win and I hope we can learn from them.

Hard Brexit now!

You must be feeling a bit of a fool for predicting a Brazil-Argentina finalOriginally posted by shaunbhoy View Post

so I can understand the sour grapes.
Still with a little humility, you may understand a bit more about footy and understand why I predicted:
1) Why Capello wasn't that great
2) Why England would fail
2) Ultimate European supremacy at the WC.Hard Brexit now!

Rugby's worse than football. Catch the ball, run into one of the other team, fall over, someone picks the ball up, repeat.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostListen to all you girls getting on the football bandwagon.
