Like someone in the FA said: "If Capello can't sort this lot out who can?". The flaw lies with our culture, system and many other deep issues. Basically we are a second rate country and not just in football.Originally posted by SofaKingdom View PostSo Capello gets 6.5m to produce this drivel. I'd have done it for 3m.Hard Brexit now!

England 1 : Germany 4, are we just a little country with no money for football / training / support ?
The England disallowed goal WAS a robbery but the Germans out played us, should English football now be regulated like the banks to promote English players and organize our international team more properly ?
What is wrong with this picture ? should some Italian who has a poor command of the English language really be given the job of managing an English football team ?
What a shambles.Comment

Don't disagree. Just figured that the highly paid foreigner might be able to overcome that. If he can't, why bother with him.Originally posted by sasguru View PostThe flaw lies with our culture, system and many other deep issues.Comment

England were pretty tulip (well most of them, particularly the overpaid Chelsea boy in defence) as was to be expected. Taken the flag down while all the neighbours are letting off fireworks

Oh let's give up on the "England players are crap" thing. They play in teams which regularly win or threaten for the top European tournaments after all. The individuals are good, the team is crappy.Originally posted by sasguru View PostLike someone in the FA said: "If Capello can't sort this lot out who can?". Anyway, James was pretty good. But I wonder how many £million were knocked off the cost of Gerrard, Rooney, et al.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
