This is a load of crap IMO. People are killed by drunk drivers yes. BUT they are already over the drink drive limit???? Reducing the amount will mean the same number of people are killed but by drivers now 3 times over not twice. It is just spin trying to turn peoples opinions.
At no point do they give the stats for the number of people killed by people who would be over in future and I bet that is pretty bloody low but in the mean time the completely wankered people will continue to go out and kill people.
Waste of money IMO as the efforts and cost will be dissproportionate to the results.Last edited by northernladuk; 17 June 2010, 12:43.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

In this country if you drink four pints and get behind the wheel, unless you drive like a c***, you will never be stopped and breathalised (unless you have an accident). They need to implement random breath tests so people actually fear being caught.
I don't support the reduction in the limit. It will only affect people on the morning after, and lazy police forces would rather 'catch' offenders this way than stay up late in the night and do the hard work.Cats are evil.Comment

Although I agree - you are possibly unlikely to get caught.Comment
