A "sockie" is generally regarded as an alternate login utilised by various posters, usually for nefarious reasons.

There are a number of ways, but the generally accepted methods round here involve being either an objectionable argumentative bastard, or conversely, vomit-inducingly conciliatory. If you can inject humour into the process so much the better, but it is by no means mandatory. There are some on here that have achieved colossal post counts by doing nothing other than waffling........a lot!

In which case rumour has it I could possibly fall into the argumentative bastard category. Personally speaking I view it as an exchange of opinions - how others choose to perceive that is up to them.

Hints are hints, not dead give aways.

So there you go, now you know my name and where I live.

And what is more, the revelation that the internet has reached as far as Norfolk. Something most of us never thought we would see in our lifetime.
Do they have special 6-fingered keyboards too?

If so there will be no holding them back!

Well that could be the Airport........

Fitting in in CUK is mainly a matter of not caring one way or the other........ NOB25 was always whining.... and he really really tried to "fit in"..... but one day he would try to be funny..... one day he would agree with everyone....... he was a bit sad... but mainly when NOB25 was banned he thought it was clever to create a new sockie and include the words "I have never been north of the M25" in his 2nd post... then he got banned..... and did it again. including the M25 quote...... now we have some really really stupid posters but he "took the biscuit" so to speak!

                      anyway - Welcome..... Cathy

I suggest you start a thread at about 10am on Monday and with any luck it'll turn into a Party (a strange CUK "tradition")
